"Anisotropic plasticity using Hill’s yield criterion was introduced in ANSYS 5.7,
and the extensions to anisotropic creep and viscoplasticity were added in ANSYS
6.0. While Hill’s stress potential is most commonly used for rolled sheets, it can
be used for other situations where three orthogonal planes of symmetry are
preserved. This memo will introduce details of the usage of Hill’s potential in
ANSYS."
